Luigi Rovati

Luigi Rovati is graduated at the University of Pavia in Electronic Engineering with 110 votes out of 110 cum laude, where he also received his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. Currently serves as associate professor of Measurement Science at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Since November 2010, he is Deputy Director of the Department of Information Engineering.
For over fifteen years Luigi Rovati has done research in the field of low-noise electronics and optoelectronics, with particular reference to industrial and biomedical applications. His scientific activity is mainly focused on the design and realization of high performance optical and electronics instrumentation. Great care has been devoted to the detection of weak optical and electrical signals in optical and electronics measurement systems.
Luigi Rovati is also engaged in technology transfer and exploitation of research results including start-up companies.
